We will go over initial submission requirements, dos and don'ts, and what to expect as a semi-finalist and as a finalist. This training will help you maximize your chances of winning up to $45,000 in scholarship awards!Free in-person event: Open to all undergraduate and graduate students at USD.Undergraduate USD students: earn 1 passport / compass / connect point!Lunch included! Arrive 15 minutes early to grab lunch on us before the event starts.Questions: Email the Catalyzer team at [email protected] about the Fowler Business Concept Challenge:Organized by the USD School of Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation Catalyzer, the Fowler Business Concept Challenge energizes the entrepreneurial spirit of University of San Diego students from across campus, encourages USD students to leverage their entrepreneurship potential to make a positive impact on the world, and provides them with a chance to win up to $45,000 in scholarship awards.Open to all undergraduate and graduate students at USD, the Fowler Business Concept Challenge (FBCC) welcomes all kinds of business ideas (B2B, B2C, etc.). Students can compete as individuals or as a team, and can submit multiple ideas if they wish (only one idea per team can advance to the semi-finals / finals).Scholarships are awarded to the top four finalists and twelve semifinalists. All participants will be featured on the evening of the event, allowing you to get visibility and further support for your idea, whether you make it to the semifinals/finals or not.Submissions should be new business concepts. Businesses that are already incorporated, ideas that have already won prize/s at the prior Fowler Business Pitch Competition / Torero Entrepreneurship Challenge (TECh) / V2 Pitch Competition / Fowler Global Social Innovation Challenge etc. are not eligible to participate. Founders of these businesses can submit new ideas for this challenge, even if they have previously won money for their other ideas. Students may submit as many business concepts as they like, however, only one concept from each student will be eligible to compete in the semifinal and final rounds of the competition. The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Catalyzer at the University of San Diego School of Business breeds innovation right here on campus, helping students turn bold ideas into booming startups and value-based enterprises.
