Teen Guys Book Club is led by Matthew Beeny, a local eleventh grader along with his sidekick Grayson King, a local 6th grader. Guys can expect fun, engaging conversation around books Matthew and Grayson think every teen boy should read. This small group experience centers around the idea that young people should have the opportunity to have interesting conversations about real world concepts. This experience is best suited for teenager boys. Each month the group will read and discuss a different book. September's Book: Dead End in Norvelt by Jack Gantos Prior to the Book Club, participants should read the selection and come prepared to engage in interesting conversation with peers. House of Shine is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to help people from age 5 to 95 discover who they are and why their contribution to the world matters.
