October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Citadel Outlets is once again partnering with Susan G. Komen for their 5th annual PINK SAVES October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Citadel Outlets is once again partnering with Susan G. Komen for their 5th annual PINK SAVES campaign that raises vital funds and awareness for the organization. Susan G. Komen funds more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit, while providing real-time help to those facing the disease. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Citadel Outlets is hosting a fall fashion show in Center Court. Over twenty women, all breast cancer fighters, thrivers, or angels, will strut the runway in an effort to raise awareness and funds for the cause. You won’t be able to miss Citadel Outlets’ iconic Ribbon of Strength, the World’s Largest Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbon, sparkling with tens of thousands of pink sequins, perched atop the center's Castle Wall. An October staple for Citadel Outlets, the Ribbon of Strength shines bright in memory of the angels and in honor of the survivors and current fighters. In an effort to encourage proper breast health, on October 23 and 24 there will be a mobile mammography unit providing free mammograms onsite. Interested shoppers can sign up on-site.
