Take 2 is a collaboration between two respected film and cultural festivals. East LA Film Festival and PIFF/LA Panafest. A film festival and much more, Take 2 is a celebration of culture, community, and creativity. Designed to highlight the work of Latinos across the Americas and right here at home, we are giving a platform to emerging and established voices because access and representation matter. Through panels and networking activities, we also bring Latino creators and the Hollywood film industry together. Relevant themes are woven into content including Afro-Latino identity, immigration, youth workshops, health and mental wellness, DACA and LGBTQ+ narratives, to name a few. FRIDAY is our Opening Red Carpet, Screening of Mas de Mi (USA/Peru), followed by our opening night gala - ticketed as a stand alone Event. SATURDAY and SUNDAY - You can purchase a weekend pass for all day Saturday and Sunday. OR you can buy a day pass for either SATURDAY or SUNDAY.
