Texas A&M University The Thomistic Institute at Texas A&M presents a lecture by Sr. Mary Angelica Neenan of the University of Dallas, titled "What Does it Mean to be a Human? The Human Soul as Receiver of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty." Memorial Student Center 2404 Wednesday, Oct. 13 8:30 PM This lecture is free and open to the public. About the speaker: Sister Mary Angelica Neenan, O.P. is an Assistant Affiliate Professor on the theology faculty at the University of Dallas. She earned the S.T.D. from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome, the Angelicum, in Moral Theology in 2011, as well as the S.T.L. and S.T.B. She has been teaching Theology at Aquinas College in Nashville since 2007, and has served in other assignments such as directing the study abroad program for Aquinas College in Bracciano, Italy, from 2014-2017. Sister Mary Angelica is also a trained portrait painter and enjoys painting and drawing, and received her first Undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from Belmont University in Nashville. The Thomistic Institute exists to promote Catholic truth in our contemporary world by strengthening the intellectual formation of Christians at universities, in the Church, and in the wider public square.
