St. Valentine's Dinner in the Forest Spend Valentine's in The Forest enjoying a five course dinner focused on aphrodisiacs St. Valentine'sDinner in the Forest February 12th, 2022 Spend Valentine's in The Forest enjoying a five course dinner focused on aphrodisiacs and seasonal, farm fresh ingredients. The gate will open at 6:00, and dinner will be served promptly at 6:30. The meal will be served in the forest space located next to the commercial kitchen in a barn. We are a BYO establishment, and invite you to bring along that which suits your tastes. We offer 20% off of our Restaurant's wine list, and we would love to see you stop into the restaurant on your way to the farm to pick up specialty, not-found-anywhere-else fermentables. The menu with pairing recommendations will be announced the week of the dinner. Dinner will be held rain or shine. Please wear closed toed shoes and consider the weather of the current season. We will have fires in chimineas, patio heaters, and blankets available. We hope to see you there! Our hope is to share a deeper understanding, appreciation, and connection to our food. Fresh ingredients are of the utmost importance so we strive to utilize produce from our own garden or from local and organic producers. With this in mind, we serendipitously settled on a 15 acre piece of land. On it, the late Don Ganter’s work – hand built old barns, a workshop, coops, and hutches. We have revived and repurposed them to give home to our ducks, guinea fowl, chickens, turkeys, roosters, and roaming heritage breed pigs. We are content to let nature do what she intends so our practices do not include the use of harmful pesticides or chemicals. After establishing our farm, we decided to take this mindset into town. In May 2018, we opened our first restaurant at the Ice House on Main in Historic Downtown Bryan. In this 106 year old building, we are able to bring a little bit of the farm to the community.  We hope to provide the community with the benefits of our land and our hard work. www.RoninTX.com
