Join us for the October meeting at Grata. Our speaker is Joe Clementi from State Farm discussing changes in the workplace. We're so excited to have Joe Clementi, one of our own chapter members, speak for the October meeting at Grata Bar and Lounge. Joe is going to lead a discussion about the changes from the last few years. Below is his bio: Joe Clementi is a Property and Casualty Underwriting director at State Farm with responsibilities for the auto product team. He has been with State Farm for 24 years where he started as a fire claim representative in Columbia, Missouri. After 8 years in claims where he worked in both in office and field claims as well as leadership, he moved over to personal lines fire underwriting as a first line leader. In 2008, he and his family moved to Lincoln when he was selected as a second line leader in State Farm’s Farm/Ranch department which is centralized for the country here in Lincoln. After a few years in Farm/Ranch, he switched roles where he led an auto/fire underwriting team working with agents in the state of Wisconsin. He was then promoted to an operation manager where he held that role for almost 9 years while working in the auto/fire underwriting market area where his primary responsibility was to work with and assist agency leadership. He has been in his current director role for approximately 3 months. Outside of work, Joe and his wife Barbi enjoy spending their free time watching their son Ryan who is a Senior at East play baseball. He also enjoys running and playing golf. They also have a dog named Truman (named after the Missouri Tiger mascot) who basically runs the house. * Photo by Austin Distel*
