Summary: Duluth Public Schools is seeking an individual to provide custodial cleaning and minor facilities maintenance services in assigned building(s). To perform minor grounds maintenance including clearing snow from walkways and steps leading to assigned building(s). To assist in the set-up of rooms and other facilities for school and community events. Minimum Qualifications: Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED Six months of experience Or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the work. Knowledge Requirements: Knowledge of cleaning standards Knowledge of cleaning methods Knowledge of cleaning chemicals Time management knowledge Skill Requirements: Skilled in the use and care of floor cleaning equipment Skilled in task prioritization Certification or Licensing Requirements: None for School Custodian I Special Class C Boilers License in the State of Minnesota for School Custodian II Second Class C Boilers License in the State of Minnesota for School Custodian III In addition to rewarding career opportunities, Duluth Public Schools offers an excellent benefit package to employees who are hired into positions scheduled to work 24 hours/week or more.
