The Learn by Doing Clinic, Driven by Toyota I February 22, 2022 The Learn by Doing Clinic is an informative, hands on track and field experience aimed for coaches and high school athletes to learn from some of our country’s most elite athletes and top coaches. This four hour clinic will feature motivational and inspiring words from USATF Olympians, breakout discussions and track specific workout sessions lead by some of the most accomplished track and field coaches and athletes for Team USA. Email Linda Lanker at [email protected] USA Track & Field Olympians Attendees Mechelle Freeman: CEO/Founder of Track Girlz, 2007 World Champion in the 4x100 relay and Pan American silver medalist in the relay. She will be sharing her knowledge in the sprints and relays. Devon Allen: Three-time national champion, two-time Olympian in the 110 hurdles. His personal best is 12.99 set in 2021. Devon will be teaching hurdle drills and technique. Sam Kendricks: Three-time indoor and six-time outdoor national champion and 2017 World Champion in the Pole Vault. 6.06m is his personal best. Sam will focus on pole vault technique. Jeff Hartwig: World Indoor silver medalist, Indoor/Outdoor American record holder. Master's World record holder and two-time Olympian in the Pole Vault. Jeff will share his extensive knowledge in the vault. Clayton Murphy: 2017 Pan American Games gold medalist, 2016 Olympic bronze medalist in the 800m. Clayton will focus on middle distance training. Tim Cawley: Head Coach at University of Idaho, USA Team Jumps Coach. Tim coached the 2012 Olympic bronze medalist, Janay Deloach, in the Long jump. He will be teaching long and triple jump skills.
