Splicing Apprentice Position

Iron Street Rope Splicing is a small local in house splicing company for WesSpur Tree Equipment and we are looking to hire an apprentice splicer who will primarily focus on running one of our industrial sewing machines but with flexibility and opportunity to learn hand splicing as well. No experience is necessary although it could be helpful as all training will be done in house. Manual dexterity, the ability to follow instruction carefully and being very detail oriented are a must as our gear is used in rigging and life support. The position is a full time day shift Monday through Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm with potential overtime as the business requires. Starting pay is $15/hour, with a $1.00 raise at 6 months and another $1.00 again at 1 year with pay increases determined by skill level and efficiency after that point. We have a 401(k) program, paid vacation and sick time and typically a profitability bonus at the end of the year.
