The Ricky j Taylor Combo at Gallagher Unplugged on Friday, October 15th 7-9PM The Ricky j Taylor Combo performs at Gallagher Unplugged on Friday, October 15th from 7-9pm. Tickets are $10 in advance or $14 at the door. Ricky j Taylor is joined by two top-shelf musicians to form the Ricky j Taylor Combo. Performing with Ricky are Joanna Moger on fiddle and vocals, and Rick Rorex on mandolin and vocals. Rick is a former national mandolin champion.Ricky is an award-winning artist who toured with bluegrass great Claire Lynch prior to forming his band: The Live Roots Ensemble performing his original songs. He has gained an endorsement from Gallagher Guitar as a singer-songwriter and is a Featured Artist. In 2017, he was nominated Best Male Solo Act in the Rockin' City by Huntsville Alabama’s HuntsvilleMusic.com. Ricky is a member of the Last Honky Tonk Music Series based in Morgan City La. In addition to his ensemble, Ricky fronts bluegrass band Walker Street Opry and retro-country band The Lost Troubadours from the Ford Galaxy. He tours regionally with his bands, as a solo artist and with Songs & Stories. During his lengthy career, Ricky has recorded two full-length albums and has appeared on national TV and festivals across the US. Vaccinations and masks are encouraged for this show.
