A Public Forum on Beauty and Imagination with Dr. Karen Swallow Prior, Professor of English and Christianity and Culture We were made to desire beauty, to be drawn to it and to the One who is the source of all Beauty. But how do we know what is truly beautiful? Is beauty simply in the eye of the beholder or is it more? If beauty matters, then so, too, does distinguishing real beauty from its cheap substitutes. Join us for an evening with Dr. Karen Swallow Prior and hear from her on seeking true beauty and the importance of cultivating our imaginations. Venue & COVIDThis event will take place in-person and indoors at Vintage Church Downtown. Seating capacity will be limited, and masks will be required for all attendees. Seeking the cultural, social, and spiritual renewal of Raleigh by equipping, connecting, and mobilizing a movement of Christians who work for the common good of the city.
