Description
Hi!
I’m Gordon. I play piano, sing, and write music. I’ve made other posts looking for musicians for some original music in all traditional tunings. However, I’m posting this now because I am curious if there are many folks around here experimenting with microtonal and xenharmonic music.
I’m pretty new to this domain, but I’ve written a couple things in odd tunings, one in 24edo I posted to youtube:

I’ve spent time playing with non-traditional JI tunings and even just making up different tunings on my keyboard and on my electric piano.
I’m pretty new to this world and am just curious if anyone around here is involved and would maybe like to chat or link up. I’ve had a lot of fun and stimulation just exploring different sounds.

As an aside
If you’ve never heard of this stuff and are curious, here’s the wiki article:

Kyle Gann has a great explanation of just intonation here:

There are some very cool and friendly microtonal music groups on facebook. They’re easy to find.
You can also look up Sevish on youtube, he writes microtonal electronic music that is really good and accessible.
