Description

Join us for a Community-Led Townhall Discussion with key elected officials and decision-makers surrounding Housing & Homeless solutions. The Stockton Housing Justice Coalition will hold a community-led Town Hall & Panel Interview with key City & County elected officials and decision makers. Panelists will be asked about their plans for supporting affordable housing development, protecting vulnerable residents from falling into homelessness and how they are helping get those currently experiencing homelessness into permanent housing. The event will be held in a hybrid setting (with in-person attendance available) and streamed via Facebook for those who would prefer to participate remotely. Local elected officials will be present to connect directly with residents, hear their housing needs and challenges and share what work they are doing to help keep Stocktonians sheltered. The Housing Justice Coalition will be officially introduced to the City/County and share its policy platform developed by Stockton community residents. This is a collaborative effort of the Stockton Housing Justice Coalition which is made up of multiple grass-roots & non-profit organizations advocating for short and long term solutions to create permanent and affordable housing options in the City of Stockton. *Event will be Live Streamed to accommodate those desiring to engage virtually @ https://www.facebook.com/faithinsanjoaquin
