Murder at the Mill - A Halloween Museum Escape Room Experience The Augusta Museum of History presents a different twist on the escape room game. With the Murder at the Mill event, participants have to escape from an actual museum exhibit - or risk becoming a part of the exhibit forever. The scenario is also based on actual events. On October 19, 1906, Maude Dean Williamson was brutally murdered in the weaving room in a local cotton mill. Participants act as members of Augusta's newly formed night watch and are tasked with finding the scene of the crime and catching Maude's murderer. You will need to search for clues, solve the puzzles, and decipher the secret codes. Do you have what it takes to solve the mystery and escape from the Victorian time period? You will only have 45 minutes. Each session is 1 hour. Please arrive 10 minutes before your time slot to sign a wavier and for further mission instructions. Plan to leave 15 minutes at the end for a debriefing and pictures. Ages 13 and over please. Each time slot is limited to 10 participants. Museum Members get a 5% discount on tickets.
