Join Nafasi Resident Artist James YaYa Hough as we kick off our journey to the 58th Carnegie International! Join Hill District native and renowned artist James YaYa Hough for a series of Community Workshops as he gears up for the Carnegie 58th International! The workshops will be an opportunity for community members to engage with YaYa around the mural making process, the themes and ideas to be apart of the project, and the critical matters that surround working with art institutions in historically black communities. The workshops are for all ages and will conclude with an artmaking workshop on Oct 23rd 2021 The Hill CDC works in partnership with residents and stakeholders to create, promote, and implement strategies and programs that connect plans, policies and people to drive compelling community development opportunities in the Greater Hill District.
