What forms of proof are accepted at Hops for Hunger? Proof of vaccination may include a physical card or a photo of a complete vaccination card that matches the guests ID with their final dose completed at least fourteen days prior to the event. Proof of a negative test from 72 hours or less prior to the event may be a printed or digital test result that matches the guests ID. What if you are not vaccinated? Those who cannot be vaccinated, can show a dated negative test to attend. People with a medical condition or closely held religious belief that prevents vaccination can attend with proof of a recent negative coronavirus test. If you are not vaccinated, we encourage you to wear a mask even if you’ve received a negative COVID test in the last 72 hours. Why is this policy necessary?Taking this step ensures the safety of our guests, staff, volunteers, and the brewers, and implementing this simple measure minimizes risk and the spread of the virus. SACA Food Shelf's previous policy included mandatory vaccinations for staff and volunteers, and this is an extension of those precautions. Where can I get a COVID-19 test? You can find a free testing location near you HERE. What do I do if I lost my vaccination card? You can request a copy of your Minnesota vaccination record HERE. For other states, find Immunization Information Systems contact information HERE. Consider using Docket, an immunization record app to show your COVID Vaccination status - https://docket.care. SACA Food Shelf and Thrift Store  is a 501(c) (3) non-profit food shelf.  SACA has been serving the communities of Columbia Heights, Fridley, Hilltop, Spring Lake Park and part of NE Minneapolis for 43 years.  Using the Client Choice food shelf model, we serve 1000+ in crisis families (over 2700 people), giving out 50,000 plus pounds of food monthly.  Last year SACA gave out over 600,000 pounds of food!  We work closely with schools, police and fire departments to bring food and hygene products to in need students.  SACA also has a low barrier homeless program and senior delivery service (SACA Delivers). We also give out Christmas toys and a complete holiday meal for either Thanksgiving or Christmas. In addition, SACA also has a school backpack program for missing meals and provides cancer assistance in the form of food to help alleviate the high cost of groceries, leaving more money for high medical expenses.  Come shop at our Thrift Shop where clothing, and small household items are sold at garage sale prices.  SACA's Thrift Shop is open to the public and proceeds go back to purchasing more food.
