Description
Use marijuana? Thinking about quitting?
If so, Stanford University is currently conducting a confidential study to determine if a non-medication treatment, repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS), can help frequent marijuana users reduce their use. Participants will receive study treatment and care at no cost, plus compensation to offset time and travel.
By participating in this trial you will be contributing to science and potentially the development of a new treatment to help others.
To qualify for the study you must:
-Be between the ages of 18 and 60
-Use marijuana regularly and have negative effects from your marijuana use
-Want to quit or cut down on your marijuana use
-Not have problematic use of other substances such as alcohol, opioids, or methamphetamine
-Not be using medications for anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or seizures
Call Brendan at (650) 374-0907 or email [email protected] and ask about the rTMS for Marijuana study.
Participant's rights questions, contact 1-866-680-2906.
The use of rTMS is not FDA approved for the use of cannabis use disorder and is investigational in this study.
