Job Summary: Perform all duties of grounds maintenance as directed by the Landscape Supervisor including upkeep of the grounds, landscape maintenance and irrigation and general projects around the Napa Valley facilities. Essential Functions: The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Perform groundskeeping at all Napa Valley facilities to include: Mowing/Edging lawn areas Weeding lawn areas and flower beds Removing dead flowers and foliage from plants Hand watering various areas and plants Raking gravel areas Transplanting/Planting Fertilizing Irrigation work to include Head Cleaning, and installation of drip and sprinkler systems. Pruning bushes and/or trees Operating blower to remove debris from walkways Assist in maintenance of tools and equipment Some Interaction with public/ visitors, answering questions and providing information regarding Trinchero Family Estates Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Years of Experience: 4 or more years’ experience in horticulture-related field Valid driver’s license Basic knowledge of landscaping – irrigation, equipment, plants, etc. Gracious, courteous attitude with co-workers and guests of the winery Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Working Conditions: Must be able to lift 55 pounds Exposure to outside elements (heat, wet and/or damp conditions, cold) May require heavy physical work (lifting, bending, climbing, pulling, or squatting for long periods of time) Work site may be any one of Trinchero Family Estates’ facilities Apply Here:
