Position Title: Shipping & Receiving - 1st Shift Wage: $15/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:30am-4pm Do you like having your nights off? Is warehouse work your niche? This is the opportunity for you. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Work with carriers concerning refused deliveries, damaged freight issues, freight claims, and determining job site contact information - Prepare shipping documents, arranges carriers-both domestic and export shipping containers - Run and review daily shipping reports and build/book loads - Verify items received by inspecting condition of items; compare count/ measures of items to purchase order and packing list; note discrepancies - Transfer orders received by routing or deliver items to requesting department Requirements: - Organization, quality management, supply management, deadline-oriented, documentation, computer, customer service, and reporting skills - Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack - Ability to operate tools used to measure QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with nearly 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
