Position Title: Assembler - 1st Shift Wage: $15/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-4:30pm Do you like working with your hands to create a finished product? We’re hiring for an Assembler on 1st shift. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Use hand tools and power tools to assemble small attachments to the bases of the controller arms - Use hand tools consisting of drills, screwdrivers, riveters, and wire cutters - Assemble pieces of metal buildings, run wires and cables for electrical components - Clean warehouse and ensure work areas are neat and clean at all times Requirements: - Lift up to 50lbs frequently and up to 30lbs occasionally - Stand on concrete floors for up to 10 hours a day - Bend, lift, walk, stand, stoop, crouch, kneel, reach, and grip with hands and fingers - Work with hands, grip, and move objects weighing up to 50lbs - Read and understand mechanical drawings and blueprints - Use hand tools and power tools - Work well with others and have good communication skills - Trainable and willing to learn QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with nearly 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
