Along with Charlie Parker, Dizzy is known as one of the creators of the bebop genre of Jazz. He is also one of the early architects of Jazz Fusion, by uniting his fascinations with Afro-Cuban music with Jazz. Gulf Coast Jazz Collective Founded in 2021, the Gulf Coast Jazz Collective brings the best of live Jazz performance to Southwest Florida.
