2021 History Makers Celebration is Saturday October 30, 6:30-8:30pm History Fort Lauderdale Historical keeps the stories of history makers: past, present & future. This year's History Makers Celebration is Saturday, Oct 30. We celebrate the Marine Industries Association of South Florida's 60th anniversary & the Denison Family - a pioneering family in the Marine Industry. These honorees have made a tremendously positive impact on the growth of the City of Fort Lauderdale. This year’s event will celebrate the city’s 109th birthday with cocktails, food stations and music under the stars at the Superyacht Pavilion on the Pier 66 property south of the 17th Street Causeway bridge. History Fort Lauderdale operates 3 museums & a research library on its historic campus on the New River. Guided tours of museums begin every day at 1, 2, and 3pm. K-12 educational programs, life long learning, specialty tours, art exhibits, family fun days and much more are offered. Come hear the stories of Fort Lauderdale!!
