Violin and Cello for Preschoolers

Description

Did you know that a young child can learn to play the violin or cello? Many have learned to play wonderful music using the Talent Education method, originated by Shinichi Suzuki. And it's fun for both the child and the parent, who will learn to play, too. (Parents of young children learn so they can assist them in their home practice sessions.) I have taught violin by this method for over 40 years, and cello for nearly as long. I am patient and nurturing. I teach private lessons (and small classes) to students of all ages. I also coach students who are learning to play a stringed instrument at school, and/or are in a school orchestra. I have a B.A. in music from San Francisco State University, where I received my Suzuki training from the late Dr. Walter Haderer. I taught in the San Francisco State University Suzuki Strings Program for 20 years, and in a private school for over 35 years (to date). I also teach viola, piano, guitar, singing, and recorder. Please write for more information. If you include your phone number, I will call you. I do not text.
