Lady singer looking to form band w/ 3-part harmony

Hi there! I am a lady singer, songwriter and keyboardist with a folk and electronic background who is looking to form a trio with two other singers/instrumentalists so that we can sing close, three-part harmonies. I am very into mixing folk-y and electronic influences, with a focus on interesting melodies, intricate lyrics and catchy hooks. My current top influences are Lucius, Broken Bells, Sylvan Esso, Wye Oak, Metronomy, and Lake Street Dive, however I'm open to creating music outside of these bounds! I would love to work with other musicians who want to commit to regular (1-2x week) rehearsal, gigs, recording, music videos, etc etc and take the project as far as it can go! A bit about me: I am in my 30s, I live in Oakland and have been active in the Bay Area music scene for over a decade. I am also open to traveling to SF to rehearse or gig. I have a full-time job but do strive to take music very seriously in my off-time. Most of all, I love building community and friendships through music. I am hoping to meet others who are missing the joy of performing and want to be a part of a dedicated project to get out and play house shows, club gigs, etc and get back into the world!
