Floral Arranging 101 with Florist Kim Martin Have you ever wondered how the pros make flower arrangements look so beautiful? Join us as experienced florist Kim Martin shares her techniques and tips, and guides us through the design of our own fall floral arrangements. You'll work with a variety of flowers in yellows, oranges, reds, and burgandies, and choose from three options for containers--an ivy bowl, an 8 inch round vase, or a ceramic pumpkin. Light refreshements will be served. The Reindollar Carriage House is a BYOB venue. Arrangement Options: You will choose your arrangement option when you purchase your tickets. Ivy bowl arrangements are a mix of flowers and colors in a 4” tall clear round vase. These arrangements are perfect for a small center piece or an end table. Total arrangement hight is around 6”-8”. 8” round vase is a mix of flowers and colors in a clear vase. Total hight is 16” tall. Ceramic pumpkins are the perfect center piece for the fall season. The pumpkin is 4” and the arrangement is around 10” tall. About Kim Martin: Kim found a love for arranging flowers in her high school floral design class. After graduating, she considered herself lucky to get a job at The Cutting Garden located in Westminster, MD. She worked there for 9 years, and now does small wedding flowers and other arrangements in silk and fresh for all occasions on the side. She is looking forward to the workshop and being able to share her love for flowers with you.
