Description
Rehoming this extremely sweet and gentle cat. Doesn’t scratch or bite. Stares into your eyes when you talk to her or give her affection and is also very comfortable with her humans once trust is developed.
We adopted this super sweet cat hoping that she would be able to coexist with our other 2 cats but unfortunately after a couple of months they have gone from mostly ignoring each other to now constant turmoil, taking turns picking fights with one another.
It is obvious that this sweet girl isn't happy living here. If we bring her upstairs with the kids and family, she will scurry back downstairs to a dark hiding spot as soon as we put her down. She won’t otherwise come upstairs for any reason and secludes herself in a dark corner of the basement, crying out in the middle of the night. She just seems so unhappy and it's breaking our hearts.
Her name is Goldie, and she is approximately 7 years old. She is a polydactyl tuxedo and has beautiful goldish-green eyes.
She needs to be an only cat in either a quiet home or one without small children but she gets along with dogs that are cat friendly. She may growl to let them know to back off if they are rough or hyper while hanging over her but when she understands they won’t hurt her, that reaction goes away.
With humans, she may hiss when startled or scared but that doesn’t come with any type of physical aggression from her at all.
Goldie will come with a hard-cover litter box, cat bed, and cat scratching post with hideaway. Screening for the right home. Small adoption fee may apply.
