Here are the top stories today in Salt Lake City: Two Salt Lake City police officers are recovering after a woman bit and threw rocks at them. Police were first dispatched just before noon on Friday and located the suspect at Pioneer Park, who reportedly had been walking into traffic and throwing rocks at windows. One officer was hit in the head with a rock and suffered a broken finger, while the other was bitten by the woman. More police were called to the scene, where they too were assaulted by the suspect. She was ultimately taken into custody. (KUTV 2News)Hundreds of people are expected to attend a march for women's reproductive rights in Salt Lake City today. The march will start at 11 a.m. at Washington Square and will march up to the Capitol building. Organizers say they are petitioning Gov. Spencer Cox to stand with Utah women and remove laws that restrict access to abortion, and instead focus on policies that will improve health outcomes. This march is one of many scheduled nationwide in response to Texas' abortion ban. (ABC 4) Salt Lake City schools are the latest to fall victim to a destructive TikTok challenge: the "devious licks" trend, which encourages students to steal items from their schools.
