PORTER/GROUNDSKEEPER Summary The Porter/Groundskeeper position supplements maintenance, landscape and management efforts to ensure that the community is maintained and ready for showing to prospects, which meets company standards and attracts/retains residents. Responsibilities: • Maintain overall cleanliness and physical appearance of the property and unit appeal. • Minor landscape maintenance where required, including plant care and litter removal. • Daily testing of pools and spas, where required. • Maintenance of area surrounding pools and spas to ensure safety, cleanliness and comfort of the residents. • Assist residents with service requests and follow up to ensure completion and quality. • Removal and disposal of debris left behind in units by past tenants. • General cleaning of common areas including clubhouse, gym, offices, etc. • Communicate with the Supervisor about unsafe or hazardous environments on the property. • Other duties as required. Qualifications: • Some custodial or general maintenance experience preferred. • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job. • Must be able to complete scheduled, routine tasks quickly and efficiently without supervision. • High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required. • Bilingual a plus. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Must be willing to work flexible hours/days/weekends. • Demonstrates ability to resolve conflict in a calm and professional manner.
