BOULDER, CO — Ten candidates are running for five open seats on City Council in Boulder's Nov. 2 municipal election. Patch asked candidates to answer questions about their campaigns and will be publishing candidate profiles as Election Day draws near. Tara Winer is running for Boulder City Council. To help Boulder recover environmentally, economically from the pandemic. The single most pressing issue facing our city is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it. Safety in our public spaces. What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post? I want the camping ban enforced but I also want to help those with mental health and substance abuse challenges. How do you think local officials are performing in responding to the coronavirus? What if anything would you have done differently? Well. Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform. Affordable housing, environmental stewardship, economic vitality and a thriving downtown. What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
