Police Release Video Of Attempted Homicide In San Mateo

SAN MATEO, CA — San Mateo police released video footage Friday of three suspects accused of attempted homicide and home invasion in a Sept. 9 shooting that left a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound. The suspects, adult males wearing all black clothing and masks, arrived near the 1000 block of College Avenue and pistol-whipped a victim in an attempt to enter the residence, according to police. The suspects then shot a second victim who was inside the home and attempted to flee, police said. The suspects were driving a black 2007-2012 Lexus LS460 sedan, according to police. The incident was isolated and targeted, San Mateo police determined at the time. Police released two videos of the altercation, which can be downloaded and viewed here.
