Press release from the St. Joseph County Government: September 18, 2021 Paddle through fall colors on Baugo Creek out to Baugo Bay. Cooler temperatures, diminished crowds and less pesky bugs make this a perfect time to enjoy the water. When: Every Sunday, October 3-24 (Operation is weather and creek conditions permitting.) Where: Ferrettie/Baugo Creek County Park Time: 11am - 3pm (Vessels must be returned by 5pm.) Fee: $20/canoe or kayak (up to 2 hours) *Gate fee in effect. ($4/vehicle in-county vehicles / $5/vehicle out-of-county vehicles) This activity is not recommended for children 3 years of age and younger.
