REDONDO BEACH, CA — The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Thursday night continued cautioning residents before swimming at several beaches in Los Angeles County, including waters near the Manhattan Beach Pier. People who are planning to visit the below Los Angeles County beaches to be careful of swimming, surfing, and playing in ocean waters: Manhattan Beach Pier in Manhattan BeachSanta Monica Pier in Santa MonicaMother's Beach in Marina Del Rey "The warning has been issued due to bacterial levels exceeding health standards when last tested," according to public health officials. Warnings have been lifted for the following beach areas where recent sample results identified water quality levels within state standards: Inner Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro Recorded information on beach conditions is available 24- hours a day on the county's beach closure hotline: 1-800- 525-5662.
