This dog showed up on our property a few days ago and has not left. He is not chipped and we have asked everyone in the area if he belongs to anyone and no one knows him. Apparently this area is common for pet dumping. He appears to be about 3 or 4 and is intact. I have a small older pug and he gets along with him just fine and seems to love people and belly rubs. I have treated him for fleas just in case he had any and brought him into my house a few nights to see what he would do. He does not jump up on anything nor did he have any accidents. He seems to be some type of hound mix but he does not bark or howl at all. The only time I heard him bark was when he heard something running through the woods behind our garage. We travel a lot and are not able to take on another dog, especially one that can not fly with us like our pug can. He seems like he was owned at some point in time and deserves a good home.
