Yes Brian, you are correct in saying that CL has no obligation, as a private free enterprise corporation to allow any and all posts to be posted no matter how vile they are. And they have every right as a private enterprise to delete and censor such posts. However, here is the problem. As covered by Section 230, which states that hosting sites such as CL, flamebook, twister, youglue and such will be penalized or fined for their censorship on what THEY DEEM NEEDS TO BE CENSORED. So all of these private corporations can delete and censor what THEY seem fit to censor. So with protection of Section 230 they are supposed to allow ALL forms of political or ANY discussion to occur. If they do not, without the Protection of Section 230 they can be sued for bias in reporting. Without the protection of Section 230 they can not say they are a free and unbiased site. They must state that they will only allow Marxist propaganda, Not See horse shit, ANTIFA anarchist views, or even sex trade bullshit. It must be made clear and precise. Here is a very precise example of how these sites operate. This is like saying I own my house. I sell my house to the government now they can dictate what I do in my house. If I object they will throw me out of my house. Prior to the 2020 election the breaking story of the Hunter Biden shenanigans, his cataloged lap top e-mails with all of his and his fathers dealings with the ChiComs, the Russians, the Ukrainians was all deemed fake news by the web site tech giants. And now that is all coming to light as actually being true. That there alone may have given the election to brain dead joe because people were prevented from hearing the truth as it was happening. Did it for sure? Who knows? But why do the tech giants have such influence on American politics? And why are they being protected? This is government/private enterprise collaboration on steroids, not seen since Germany 1930's to circumvent the rule of law and the Constitution.
