OUTWEST EXPRESS is seeking to hire a Body Shop Technician for the diesel mechanic shop in the McAllen, TX Terminal. The primary job responsibilities include: • Perform bodywork repair, including de-trim, disassembly for tractors and trailers; • Assess necessary repairs and advise management of parts and labor required to effect satisfactory repair; • Prepare vehicles for body repair work; • Maintain records of all vehicle repairs; • Oversee the repair process, ensuring quality work and managing the timely repair completion; • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas; Job requirements: • High School Diploma; • Valid Driver's License; • Excellent verbal communication skills; • Basic computer operations knowledge; • Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively; • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time; • 1 Year Auto Body repair experience preferred.
