Description
OCEANSIDE, NY — An East Rockaway man, who was found slumped in a car by police in Oceanside Thursday evening, repeatedly gave officers the wrong identification, detectives said.
Police said the man, who was confused and incoherent, offered officers money to gain favor.
Kevin Meyer, 32, was taken into custody without incident, police said. He faces charges of false impersonation and third-degree bribery.
Meyer will be arraigned when it's medically feasible, according to police.
