Gritty Soul Singer/belter building band ala Early Ray Charles, Lee Moses, Dr John, Taj Mahal, James Carr etc (Jeff Ray James on SoundCloud) with a great committed Drummer on board, fantastic bass, some great female Soul harmonies ala early Ray Charles, and some great horn players hireable, but a dedicated Band who doesn't mind rehearsing a little would be ideal rather than constantly plugging the lineup... Great songs from 60s New Orleans Soul mixed with very solid Retro Soul Originals... Most needed component is a Keys Wiz who can lay down Dr John circa Gumbo and early Ray Charles... Mission of a crowd-engaging band stage presence with total dedication to putting on a fantastic show people won't soon forget. We have great recording opportunities, and a paid audio/video recording session is being planned in a historic, fantastic space. We also have a great open offer for a regular house gig complete with New Orleans themed food specials... Saturday nights to start... Working on a Sunday post brunch NOLA thing too.
