Metal Fabrication Sander / Finisher & Delivery Driver We are a custom metal fabrication shop located near Glendale / Los Angeles seeking an experienced Metal Fabrication Sander / Finisher and Delivery Driver for full-time position (Mondays through Fridays, occasional overtime and weekends). Metal sanding and paint preparation experience IS REQUIRED. Metal Finisher Requirements: Would be required to operate power tools and equipment in order to grind welds, finish metal parts, and prepare for painting process. Select and attach abrasive wheels or discs according to product and sander/grinder requirements. Report product defects and take appropriate steps to correct. Delivery Driver: Delivering and picking up material, and finished goods to and from job sites and vendors throughout the southern California region. Clean Class C driver’s license and must be insurable Forklift Experience Loading trucks – securing loads Basic smartphone and GPS app abilities General Requirements: Must be reliable and punctual Clear communication skills Maintain safe working environment Follow all safety guidelines and procedures Cleaning and sweeping of work areas Must be a good team member and able to work with minimal supervision Demonstrate attention to detail Experience with basic tools like Sawzall, D.A. sander, hand tools, tape measure, etc. Assistant Fabricator (Considered a Bonus): General assistance in fabrication shop with some light fabrication duties and potential for growth opportunities with further fabrication training.
