POSITION SUMMARY Escape Campervans is growing very quickly which means we get a LOT of inbound interest. We are looking for a customization specialist Manager to join our team! This position is responsible for assisting with the conversion of our awesome campervans! In this role you will be responsible for installing cabinets, sinks, refrigerators, tables, bedding, stoves, and other accessories to transform our vans into exploring machines! Some van cleaning and detailing may also be required. Our campervans are as much hotels on wheels as they are vehicles. They have bedding, kitchen tables, curtains, and lots of nooks and crannies. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Install campervan appliances, curtains, tables, stoves, sinks, cabinets, and other campervan components • Assemble cabinets and tables • Break down various van components and prepare vans for installation • Ensure proper functionality of all campervan equipment and components • Assist with keeping the depot maintained in a clean and tidy manner • Launder campervan bedding, curtains, and other items as necessary • Follow the Company Brand Manifesto and Brand Identity Guidelines at all times • Assist with the end of day close out procedure as needed • Follow all provided Escape procedures • Monitor condition of the vehicles being rented to ensure they meet state and federal guidelines as mandated. Essential for all vehicles to have sufficient tread on the tires, functioning brakes and seat belts and all applicable certifications from the DMV • Cleaning and detailing campervans • Encourage customers to provide social media feedback • Convey any issues to management as they arise • Other tasks as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES • Polished professional presence and demeanor • Team player • Ability to make decisions and work with little supervision • Ability to work under pressure and balance multiple tasks with a positive attitude • Dynamic, organized, detailed and time management oriented • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills • Strong problem-solving skills • Mechanical aptitude with carpentry skills • Self-confident, self-motivated, self-starter, flexible, results-oriented and success driven EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE • High school diploma or equivalent. • Must be 21 years of age and have a clean driving record. • 1 – 3 years of carpentry experience preferred or another related field. • This is a seasonal position and lasts for the duration of our van conversion process.
