Seeking a Float Teacher for our center in Lakeside! Aunty’s is a great place to work, with fun coworkers and supportive, caring administrative staff. We love what we do and love working together as a team! Hours needed: We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule. We need help in covering for staff that are attending classes, and for times when our classroom capacity is into the next category, meaning we need an additional teacher in the room, or if a staff calls in sick. This position demands a lot of flexibility, and a go-with-the-flow attitude as you would be working in four different classrooms with a total of about 65 different children, sometimes making last minute schedule adjustments. We are interviewing now with a projected starting date as soon as possible. Skills requested: patience and understanding with children. Timelines, responsibility, and reliability. Good communication skills including grammar and spelling a plus! Current Infant + Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification a plus, and if you have your degree in Early Childhood or your CDA, we are definitely interested in speaking with you. All technical training requirements provided for and paid for by employer. Must pass a state background check, also paid for by employer. Educational Requirements: • Be knowledgeable in health, safety, and emergency procedures. • Must be at least 18 years of age or older, have a high school diploma, and meet the teacher requirements listed on page 8 of rule 3: https://www.revisor.mn.gov/rules/9503.0032/ Applicants who have the education but not experience are still considered.
