Aunty’s Child Care in Lakeside is looking for a part time teacher with the potential/opportunity to go full time. Aunty’s is a great place to work with fun coworkers and a supportive, caring administrative staff. We love what we do and love working together as a team! *Hours needed: We are looking for someone to be flexible and available 2-3 days a week, 10 hour days, to fill in for our teachers going to school. This schedule may not have set days off every week but will be about 25-30 hours a week. There is potential for advancement to become a full time teacher if needed. The position demands for flexibility as you wouldn’t be tied into one room rather filling in for any of the 4 classrooms. We are interviewing now for a start date as soon as possible. Skills requested: patience and understanding with children. Timeliness, responsible, and reliable. Good communication skills. Current Infant + Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification. All technical training requirements provided for and paid for by the employer. Must pass a state background check, also paid for by the employer. Educational requirements: Be knowledgeable in health, safety, and emergency procedures. Must be at least 18 years or older, and have a high school diploma, and meet the teacher requirements list on page 8 or rule 3: https://www.revisor.mn.gov/rules/9503.0032/ *Applicants who have the education but not the experience are still considered.
