Position Summary: Responsible for general machine maintenance, building maintenance and equipment operator (excavator, loader) Qualifications required: • Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs • Record repairs and maintenance performed • Any other associated tasks as seen necessary by supervisory personnel • Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment. • Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment • Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear. • Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs. • Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs. • Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery • General maintenance skills • Job pace is determined by the speed of equipment or machinery Essential functions and responsibilities: • Routine machine and equipment maintenance and repair • General building maintenance • Develop and implement preventive maintenance and continuous improvement programs • Completion of all pertinent maintenance paperwork • Ability to learn new skills, such as Use of an excavator and grinder – Will train and assist with licensing. Experience/Licensing: • Experience operating a Bob Cat, excavator a plus • Licensed equipment operator a plus Schedule: • 1st Shift • Monday-Friday.
