First off, this is an honest post, im not soliciting, speaking in code, or anything like that. I have read the guidelines and there is nothing in them that would prohibit my posting or warrant it being flagged. I'm looking for a companion/emotional support bird and would love to adopt an older bird that needs a new home. I'm 47, have experience with larger birds and fully aware of their needs. Hoping for a bird 20+ but that still has many many years of friendship left. I do have dogs and cats but many of them are elderly so looking for the friend to be my companion and pet for the golden years. I have several daughters, my family is always in and out so, if I go before my birdie, they would still be taken care of and loved by people they already know and hopefully care for. I've already discussed this with them and they are willing and glad to be my birds guardians. Hopefully this also goes to show that I'm aware of how much work a large bird is and what they need. I always prepare fresh chop, with fruits, vegetables and grains with seeds as treats. 😁 Hoping for a friendly bird that loves being handled and snuggled and do everything with me.
