Iwasaki Bros., Inc. is a wholesale greenhouse business in Hillsboro, OR about 20 miles West of Portland. We are located near TV Highway. During this time of the year we have wreath and garland makers who make wreaths for chain garden centers in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Also, grow Poinsettia plants for the chain stores and fundraisers. We are looking for seasonal help to make handmade wreath and garlands. We have various other positions available to help support or wreath makers. • Bough Handler: Load and unload delivery trucks of greenery wreath material, fill tables with material for our greenery trimmers. Requires walking, bending and lifting 60 pounds repeatedly; must be able to multi-task. 3 positions available. • Table Stocker: Supplies materials to wreath and garland makers. This position requires walking, bending and lifting 23-26 pounds full boxes of cut material repeatedly, occasionally up to 40 pounds; must be able to multi-task. 2 positions available. • Hourly Trimmer: Cuts wreath material (branches) to size needed for our wreath makers; requires bending, light weightlifting, hand trimming; must be able to use a clipper/hand trimmer. 1 position available. • Vita Tank: Dipping crates of cut wreath material into wreath preservative; requires bending, walking, lifting repeatedly 30-40 pounds, working in wet conditions, wearing rubber gloves/boots; must be able to multi-task. 3 positions available. • Garland tyers: Tie bundles of garland with rope for packaging for shipment. 3 positions available. This position is a seasonal position from October to mid-December. Working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM and be available to work Saturdays, when needed.
