Hey all, I'm a bass player with pro equipment, decent chops, good attitude, and a wide range of influences and I'm looking for a band situation of some type. I'm mainly looking to create original music but am open to the right cover or tribute project if there are regular gigs and cash involved. I have some vocal ability but don't bill myself as a singer since bass should be focal first and foremost. Electric, acoustic, fretted, fretless, 4, 6, 8-string. I'm also a decent drummer and can play guitar and keys to different degrees and have a decent enough handle on theory to be able to effectively communicate musical concepts. Willing to travel for the right project. I'm also looking for others (non-band situation unless something good develops) for recording originals in my home studio. I try to avoid particular 'genres' and like to make songs from simple, happy pop to deep, thought-provoking prog and everything in between. I'll play Motown just as readily as I'll play metal.
