Hey musician friends, My name is Mike with BIG MIKE & THE R&B KINGS We are hosting our 3rd week in a row with our MONDAY NIGHT BLUES JAM. I want to invite everyone to come and get up on stage and have fun with us. This is a great place to play some blues, listen to blues, learn some blues, and network! This week we have a special guest and recording artist from Delmark Records Mr. Omar Coleman will be in the houseband this coming Monday. I know back in the day when I was just getting into blues, it was so hard to get in to the scene because of the little knowledge I knew when playing blues. My house band plays a lot of classic blues stuff. We can teach you some cool turn arounds, cool rhythmic hits, cool beginnings and endings to songs. All kinds of great stuff to learn. I learn something every week from the different musicians that come in. I've been a professional musician for the past 8 years out in New Orleans and I'm still learning more and I am always here to give you some advice if you ever ask here at the jam.
