About the Role An amazing opportunity to work for a fast growing startup in the E-commerce space. Our Houston based operation is growing and we are looking for people to join our order processing team to help us pick and pack our customer orders. Our ideal candidate is hard-working, energetic, reliable, has strong communication skills, and pays attention to detail. Candidates should be comfortable in a warehouse environment and be committed to helping us maintain the highest standards of workplace safety. The warehouse team is responsible for making sure that all orders are complete, correct, and look professionally assembled before they leave the warehouse. Full Job Description & Responsibilities: ● Use a mobile/tablet device to track the status of orders and locate order items ● Locate and pick items from our warehouse shelves ● Check all picked items for quality and correctness ● Pack customer orders into delivery bags ● Handle inventory with care and attention ● Follow the company’s procedures and standards ● Work with the team to ensure a safe and organized work environment Skills & Qualifications: At least 18 years old High school diploma Proven experience as an inventory clerk or similar position Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data Ability to use / familiarity with a smartphone, tablet, and desktop devices Able to stand and walk for long period of times Ability to push, pull, squat, twist, kneel, reach, turn and bend Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs intermittently during a typical work shift Comfortable and able to work a 8-10hr shift (hours per day are based on business need) Must be able to stand for majority of your shift Observance to established safety guidelines in conducting physical work activity duties Must be able to work weekends and holidays (Saturday and Sunday) Must be able to start overnight or early morning hours (start times vary by department) Must be comfortable in warehouse/production environment Experience as a cashier at a Grocery Store is a plus Working knowledge of computer programs for data entry Great communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to meet production and accuracy standards in a fast-paced work environment. Basic reading and math skills Detail Oriented Ability to apply knowledge of processes involved, production methods, and products to the nuances of everyday operation Ability to clearly communicate in English. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
