If you ask me, Supervisors are the most important crew member of 24 Hours Inc, and I’ll tell you why. To the site contact, you are 24H. You’re the one that makes sure everything is completed promptly, efficiently, thoroughly. If something needs to be rectified, you’re the first point of contact. If something is excellent, you’re the first point of contact. No matter what the status of that location is, you’re the time who gets to be on ground zero, ensuring success and satisfaction for the customer, the crew, yourself, and ultimately the whole company. You are the eyes, ears, hands, and feet. Your ownership of this position is the exact key ingredient to overall company-wide performance. So, that is why I think Area Supervisors are the most key component of the 24H structure. You guys are the backbone. The ideal candidate for this position would be self-starting and solving an outgoing problem, both expeditiously and effectively. They would know when they can make the call and when they need to seek guidance or approval. They would understand the importance of positive and constructive feedback and when to apply each. A keen eye for detail is a top priority, someone who can tell the difference week to week over the span of 25+ locations if this window sill has been dusted that week. Organizational excellence is imperative to the overall efficiency of any Area Supervisor. You will have to manage Inspections, Supply Orders, Clock In/Out at 25+ locations with 50+ locations between them and growing. Not to mention the relationship maintenance of your site contacts for those locations and making sure 24 Hours Main Office stays current on the status of your location, employees, etc. Due to the large variety of national backgrounds, we have throughout our company, and within the different locations, only multi-lingual individuals will be considered. Must have at least 2 years prior janitorial experience, High school diploma/GED, reliable transportation, smartphone, clean driving record, ability to pass random drug screening, exceptional written and oral communication skills, technological competency is a must, as we use iPads and apps for out time tracking, ordering, feedback, literally everything.
