My credentials include working as an assistant director and a lead teacher for over ten years in the field; also, I hold all state required certifications, an associate in Early Childhood Education, Director Credentials, First Aid and CPR certification. DCF Registration Number: R09OR0828 *We are curriculum based and follow a daily schedule that exceeds state and national content standers for kindergarten readiness. *Our curriculum is organized into theme-based units that address complex topics that encourage children to develop their skills and self-confidence. We feel that children learn faster with "hands on" fun creative activities and in an environment that fosters the child's readiness to learn. We not only want to educate the child, but to teach them problem solving skills and how to communicate with others. Thus, creating the "total-child" -- physically, emotionally, mentally, and socially. By redirecting them in making better decisions with their choices. We focus on the child's developmental characteristics by introducing the following to the children at their developmental level: cognitive concepts, language art, science, music, sensory, fine & gross motor skills, multicultural, reading readiness, and finally math readiness.
